Program
At 6:30 a.m., we will begin by picking you up at your hotel in Punta Cana to head to Los Haitises National Park, a karst area bathed by the waters of Samaná Bay.
Upon arrival, we’ll board a boat to navigate the Caño Hondo River, observing the tangled red mangroves along the banks until we reach San Lorenzo Bay. Out on the open sea, we’ll see rocky outcrops inhabited by pelicans and frigatebirds.
We will continue by boat until we reach the caves of Arena and LÃnea, which were used by the Taino Indians and house indigenous pictographs and petroglyphs.
Then, we will disembark at the Hotel ParaÃso Caño Hondo, where we will enjoy natural pools in the Jivales River before savoring a traditional Dominican lunch in this idyllic setting.
With renewed energy, we’ll ascend in a 4×4 vehicle to the summit of Redonda Mountain, located between Limón and Redonda Lagoons. From the top, the views of the rainforest are like something out of a fairy tale.
